If you like our Springfield Barn Home, we think you’re going to love Victoria Point. Inspired by the a fore mentioned, Victoria Point flips the floor plan of the Springfield and adds a few design changes to the mix.
Victoria Point is Springfield Barn 2.0
The first level of Victoria Point is pretty much the Springfield floor plan, flipped. It has an added coat closet at the entry and, by removing the laundry room to the basement level, has opened up space for a walk-in kitchen pantry. The first level bedroom is a guest bedroom, opposed to the primary bedroom in the Springfield plan. The back half of the Victoria Point first level plan (dinging/living room)is a mirror image of Springfield’s design, employing a single fireplace in the open space.
The second level of Victoria Point is where major change comes in to play. The loft is an open office space. The primary bedroom takes the place of two secondary bedrooms original to the Springfield design. This use of space allows for a larger vaulted ceiling bedroom with a spacious walk in closet, a larger primary bath, and a linen closet.
Victoria Point is an excellent example of Yankee Barn Homes’ unique ability to create an entirely new home from a previous design. The homeowner took the Springfield design and made it his own. Currently underway, we hope to have more photos as work proceeds.
