What’s Included
Your Homestead Cottage package includes all of the enclosed structural shell with windows and doors — so you can focus on the build, not the guesswork.
Construction Plans
Floor plans, elevations, crawl space foundation, first floor framing, roof framing, and building sections. Engineered to 70 psf snowload, 125 mph wind, and 2000 psf soil bearing.
Windows & Doors
Andersen 100 Series white windows with Low E glazing, finelight grilles, white hardware, and standard screens. Therma-Tru exterior doors included.
Wall Framing Lumber
Precut, labeled, and numbered lumber for framing all exterior (2×6) and interior (2×4) walls. 4×8 sheets of ½″ ZIP exterior sheathing and tape. 8′ wall height for all models.
Roof Framing Materials
Varies by design: Prefab roof trusses (Haven & Ridge); Prefab Attic roof trusses w/ Advantech decking (Cove, Croft & Retreat); 2x12 precut rafters (Nook). 5/8" ZIP exterior sheathing & ZIP tape. Engineered to 70 psf snowload.
Porch Materials
Varies by design: Integrated into house roof truss (Cove & Haven) or precut rafters (Retreat) and 5/8" ZIP sheathing & ZIP tape. Precut & labeled Douglas Fir timber porch posts (sent long for proper fit on site), knee braces and top plates.
Exterior Finish Package
Primed textured LP Smart composite “lap” siding and exterior trim to be finish painted and installed on site per manufacturer instructions. Precut & labeled Douglas Fir timber accents per design.
Delivery Coordination
Coordination of trucking to site and assembly drawings for easy assembly on site. Materials wrapped for protection during transit.
¾″ Advantech Floor Decking
Included for designs with attic trusses — Cove, Croft, and Retreat — providing a solid, moisture-resistant subfloor for upper-level living or storage space.

Order Your Homestead Cottage
Once you’ve picked out your Homestead Cottage design, call (800) 258-9786 or email us at [email protected] to place your order. A 50% deposit secures a spot in production.

Confirmation & Approvals
Once your order is received, we’ll contact you to confirm your delivery timeline, review available upgrades and add-ons, and answer any remaining questions. You’ll receive a complete set of construction plans for your selected model along with a final order summary outlining all selected options. Once approved, we’ll begin material procurement and reserve actual production and delivery dates.

Delivery
Once you’ve paid your final balance due at the end of Production, we’ll coordinate delivery timing and logistics with you/your builder to ensure someone is on site to offload and receive delivery.

Build Your Homestead Cottage
We provide detailed assembly drawings, framing layouts, and construction details to help you or your builder assemble your Homestead Cottage efficiently on site. With precut, labeled lumber ready for installation, you’ll save time during framing and move to an enclosed shell faster — helping keep your project on schedule from day one.
