The uncommon feature Yankee Barn brings to the table is our ability to custom design to our clients specifications. While we always begin with our prefabricated panelized shell, often using some amount of timber frame in the “bones” of a design, where it goes from there is entirely up to the client. The YBH design team works with each client to formulate and create a home specific to their specifications.
Design Elements of the Farmhouse Aesthetic
Farmhouse style can be a number of things, but common elements include: exposed beams, rustic materials, vintage elements, barn doors and reclaimed wood. The farmhouse porch is another element often seen with the style.
