Welcome to understanding the Yankee Barn Homes process. Our system develops and progresses through the use of advanced 3-D architectural and virtual software.
Our 6 Step Program takes you through each phase of building a new home.
Begin
Evaluate if YBH is a good fit for your project. Review our process, sample pricing, package components and optional upgrades. Discuss your timeline with a Yankee Barn Homes representative.
Design If/when you are ready to engage in design and submit a signed Design Agreement with a fee. You will meet your team to begin the design process. Based on your criteria, your custom floor plans will be created. Review 3D virtual tours and your package price estimate.
Builder Selection Once you have chosen your general contractor you will review progress plans, timelines, budgets and permitting needs with him/her. YBH will assist you along the way.
… And Just Like That
Construction Submit a signed Construction Agreement with a deposit and receive final construction plans for your home. Your Home Shell Package will be scheduled for production in our factory.
Delivery The delivery to your site will be coordinated with your builder to ensure a smooth process. A YBH supervisor will be on-site. You have the option to hire a YBH Labor Crew to assemble your Shell Package Components.
On Site Your general contractor finishes your home installing siding, roofing, exterior doors, mechanicals and all finishes.
