Jeffrey Rosen is Creative Director and Co-Owner of Yankee Barn Homes. This month marks Jeffrey’s 5-year anniversary with the company.
Jeffrey initially became involved with Yankee Barn as a client; starting as many of our client’s do through an online search for prefabricated post and beam homes. Once the philosophy and actuality of building with YBH were experienced first hand, Jeff became devoted. “The intimacy of the experience designing a home with YBH was the thing that really impressed me. In one visit, I met with sales, was moved through to design, and left with a concept for a house in hand.”
It was as he designed houses 2-Laurel Hollow and 3-East Hampton Cottage, that Jeffrey became completely hooked. He bought into the company. “Having recently built a YBH home and having enjoyed the process/product, I jumped at the opportunity. It didn’t hurt that everyone who visited the home was captivated by the post and beam architecture.”
Yankee Barn builds are beyond sturdy, environmentally sound and add an architectural beauty not found in stick-build homes. The appeal of New England barn esthetics is powerful; the possibilities for design interpretation are endless. 5 years later, Jeffrey has designed and built 10 (Yes, TEN) Yankee Barn Homes. They dot the landscape of New York and New Hampshire. Each one is a custom design with its own architectural style, personality and unique appeal.
