Holidays At Moose Ridge Lodge

Barn Home For The Holidays

A barn home for the holidays; has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? The holidays are the one time a year when friends and family make the extra effort to get together. Eat, drink and be merry becomes more than a cliché. The barn home lifestyle lends itself perfectly to this purpose. One of the most often heard requirements from clients is this: a home with space to host extended family and friends. A Yankee Barn is the perfect setting for a crowd of people as the homes provide open floor plans and spacious post and beam rooms.  Think timber frame, warm wood tones and a soothing fire in the fireplace. Pretty much a picture perfect setting.

Moose Ridge Lodge is the epitome of the holiday season, a “home away from home” if you will. The house was built as a place for friends and family to gather and PLAY. The holidays are no exception. Every year about this time, the  small post and beam barn home comes alive with the sights and sounds of the season. People gravitate to the lodge as every square foot of it (,1657) speaks the language of comfort and joy. Look at the photos and be truthful. Couldn’t you see yourself enjoying the holidays here? I know I certainly could and I live in my own Yankee Barn!

In closing, all of us at Yankee Barn Homes want to take this opportunity to wish you and yours the happiest of holidays and a happy new year. We look forward to bringing you new and exciting homes in the upcoming year.

  1. I’m so in love with everything about this house. Is there anyway I could get the dimensions?

  2. Hi Megan, Glad to hear you like our homes. The article Barn Homes For The Holidays actually features Moose Ridge Lodge, The Bennington Carriage House, The Christmas Tree Barn and The Edgewater Carriage House. If you could give me an idea as to which photo(s) you are referring, I’ll be able to help you out; we have floor plans available for viewing. On a phone or a tablet, touch the photo to enlarge and it will show the name of the house. On a laptop, hold the cursor over the photo and the name of the home will appear. Please let me know if I may be of further assistance. BeamBabe
