Welcome to Yankee Barn Homes’ new monthly interview series. As promised in my previous post announcing Design Talk , our first interview will deal with finding out “Who is Jeffrey Rosen?”. So, without further ado, let’s get started!
Jeffrey’s Stats
Jeffrey Rosen is a seasoned NYC based interior/architectural designer. ” I’m a graduate of Parson’s School for Design, and am currently the principle designer at Jeffrey Rosen Interior Design Inc, a design/build firm in East Hampton, New York. I was recently named Creative Director for Yankee Barn Homes in Grantham, NH”.
The Bio
“As the grandson of a Westchester County, NY developer, the son of a NYC theatrical agent father and a NYC fragrance/fashion public relations mother, I was destined for the world of design.”
Early Influences
“Extensive childhood travel with heavy exposure to architecture, food and fashion of the world has played a major role in the development of my style.”
Typical Clients
“Present and former clients of mine include New York City’s rollers and shakers in finance, fashion and theatre, as well as Corporations in natural foods, placement, law and media. My work can be found in Manhattan, NYC, Palm Beach, The Hamptons, and throughout lower Connecticut.”
Jeffrey’s Look
“My look includes everything from Traditional to Modern, with architecture and structure always playing primary roles in the design. Layering of color, texture and finish are crucial elements in achieving the desired effect I’m after.”
On the Horizon
“I am currently working on a new line of Hamptons Style Cottages for Yankee Barn Homes, merging handcrafted Made in America post and beam with New England vernacular architecture; each structure possessing the latest in 21st century technology. Please watch for my new YBH cottage collection to debut soon!”
