PeaceThyme House Plan
House plan PeaceThyme is a new design from Yankee Barn Homes. Inspired by our Grantham Lake House, PeaceThyme has a slightly smaller floor plan that adds a breezeway and attached garage. The attached garage has guest quarters on the second level. More on that in a moment.
First Level
Changing up the interior floor plan completely, PeaceThyme goes for an open concept design in the living room, dining room and kitchen. It also incorporates a vaulted timber frame space in the living room area. This is a completely different layout than that found in the Grantham Lake House. It demonstrates Yankee Barn Homes’ ability to use features from past designs and incorporate them into an entirely new layout.
The first level has a primary bedroom suite on one side and a breezeway connector on the other. The breezeway is home to a half bath that incudes the washer and dryer, as wells as a small mudroom area. The two car garage and utility vehicle space rounds out the first level of this unique house plan.
Along the back expanse of the house is a large deck and a three-season screen porch. The option for a greenhouse and an outdoor shower are offered with the floor plan.
Second Level and More
The second level of the main house has two bedrooms with a shared bath. Completing the space is a vaulted timberframe loft area, perfect for a bit of quite time.
On the second level of the garage is mother-in-law apartment, perfect for live-in relatives or used as guest quarters. The space is complete with a combination living/dining room area and kitchen, as well as a bedroom with a full bath.
As evidenced by the floor plans and photos, PeaceThyme packs a large amount of appeal into its 2,021 square feet of living space.
