Oak Bluff
New Yankee Barn Homes design Oak Bluff is in process. This beauty is being design for a coastal build site but could be easily adapted to any site. The house gets its decidedly coastal flavor with gray shingles and white trim. Change that out for dark brown siding with Hunter green trim and the house would be ready for a lakeside or mountain view lot.
Floor Plan Design
The lower level provides garage and storage space. The first level utilizes a post and beam frame for the open common areas (kitchen, dining, and living room) and the bump out entry (this area also provides space for the laundry room and part of the primary bath). A large bedroom with adjacent bath and walk-in closet rounds out the first floor design on the interior. The wrap-around porch provides ample space for friends and family to spread out and enjoy the sea air, while providing two stair sets to access the water front and garage level.
Second Floor
The second level provides two more bedrooms with an office and sewing room that could be flex spaces should more sleeping areas be needed. A second full bath and a balcony overlooking the great room afford views of both the gorgeous post and beam timber frame and the ocean beyond.
