Prefab homes have shed their former reputation as makeshift. Yankee Barn Homes utilizes panelized building techniques to build fast, cost-effective yet aesthetically pleasing, long-term housing. *
Yankee Barn Homes was among the first builders of post and beam prefab homes as we know them today. Long before green building became a trend, Yankee Barn Homes offered homes using the finest materials for durability, weather protection and energy conservation. Today, we offer our trademarked True Panel System, providing better R-Values than traditional stick frame construction. Assembled in New Hampshire, our homes save on build times and job site waste as the home components are prebuilt at our New Hampshire facilities. This process is done year-round. A Yankee Barn home provides clients with their choice of architecture at a real construction value.
Each Yankee Barn starts with the homeowner’s vision, therefore no two are exactly alike. A custom designed Yankee Barn Home delivers quality, sustainability and energy efficiency, affording a sound and enduring investment. We offer outstanding design-build services and work with clients to create a complete set of plans and 3-D configuration of their home during the Design Process.
Our skilled craftsmen build the YBH Shell Package at our climate controlled production facility in Grantham, New Hampshire. The components are then delivered to the client’s building site. Erecting the shell is a joint venture with a Yankee Barn Homes’ Shell Supervisor and the client’s General Contractor. Our Shell Package utilizes highly efficient windows, doors, insulation and high quality house wrap to create a sealed building envelope.
The superior quality of our TruePanel™ wall and roof systems, combined with the controlled production of our frames and energy-efficient components and design flexibility provide a more comfortable home and positive home-buying experience.
