The Beacon Carriage House is now in it’s final stages of exterior completion. Continuing through the rain and snow of this Connecticut winter, Yankee Barn Homes and the build team have soldiered on and the building displays all their hard work.
The Beacon Carriage House
Yankee Barn Homes Director of Architectural Engineering, Chris Sevingy, calls this carriage house “the ultimate man cave”. He goes on to say the building boasts a very strong frame and combines numerous different build materials which combine to create some “very nice architectural details”. All you need do is look at the following pictures to understand Chris’ thinking. The copper roof, the sliding barn doors, the folding glass doors, the arched window, the use of shingles and tongue-in-groove siding, the spectacular lofted spaces within, all work toward a unified goal of making this carriage house very special, indeed!
