As 2020 winds down (honestly, who among is sorry to see it go?), we thought it might provide a bit of enjoyment to look at which of our houses made the most popular posts on our social media platforms Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
As you might expect, several of our homes were popular across the boards. However, even more interesting was the fact that from platform to platform, interests and “likes” varied quite a bit. The one constant was post and beam. The more we showed, the more times a photograph was liked. Also the idea of a barn house remains very popular with people who follow us. Other than that, the Likes and comments were as diverse of the people who gravitate to our social media platforms.
Pinterest is a winner for both the user and for Yankee Barn Homes. We all enjoy “pinning” our favorite finds to our boards. Followers of YBH are no different. We have 37.9 thousand active followers and get anywhere from 1.7 million to 2.1 million monthly views. Here are the top 3 photos from 2020:

The Yankee Barn Instagram page has been our fastest growing social platform this year. In this one narrow respect, 2020 has been great, as our Instagram account currently stands at 43.8 thousand followers. Interestingly enough, we have more males followers than female followers on this platform and get more comments here than on all other platforms, combined. We love our Insta family!

Love it or hate it, Facebook was the 1st giant social media platform, and it is where Yankee Barn Homes got it’s toehold in the social media world. With 14.8 thousand followers, the YBH Facebook account remains vibrant, while being the polar opposite of our Instagram account in that it attracts more female followers than male.
