Hayfield is the newest contemporary barn home design from Yankee Barn Homes. Like all YBH homes, Hayfield combines the creativity of its homeowners with the talent of our YBH Design Team. Hayfield
Hayfield is a contemporary barn style home. From the crisp contrast of white siding and black windows to the sleek lines of exterior and interior, the house exemplifies a contemporary home. Window massing is a distinctive feature of the modern style. This house has window massing that takes on the appearance of geometric artwork.*
The barn style home has an open interior layout. A mudroom provides the buffer between a connected garage and the kitchen. The kitchen, dining and living rooms flow one to another. A two-story fireplace defines the end of the common room areas. Within the dining and great room space, the vaulted ceiling employs large Douglas fir trusses. A flex area and guest lavatory complete the first floor layout.
The second floor bedrooms are located in either gable end of the house. Each bedroom has a bathroom, and the master bedroom includes a walk-in closet. The master bedroom is accessed via a bridge (catwalk), suspended over the great room.
Yankee Barn Homes intends to follow Hayfield as it transitions through the build process. As a result, we will post updates as they become available to us.
