Lifestyles in the United States are undergoing a dramatic shift. Currently one in eight Americans fall into this category with an anticipated rise to one in five within the next 14 years.

Yankee Barn Homes is building more single level floor plans for clients planning to age in place. The common denominator for this demographic: clients who are planning ahead and making proactive decisions about how they intend to live as they age. There’s a trend toward smaller, more efficient homes with a design to support reduced mobility.
