Yankee Barn Homes held an “Open Barn House” at Oyster Shores this past weekend in East Hampton, NY. By invitation, twenty potential build clients from the New York/New Jersey region toured the property to experience the Yankee Barn lifestyle. Not to “toot our own horn”, but the “By Invitation Only” private event was a smashing success!
Oyster Shores is best described as an iconic barn structure with an updated modern interior. This barn house was delivered from the New Hampshire plant and went up in 10 working days. The complete East Hampton build was achieved in less than 8 months. The house is smart wired, has a completely finished basement, radiant heat is used throughout the open floor plan.
Preeminent authority on prefab building, Sherri Koones, was in attendance. She did a book signing of her two current books on prefab houses (Prefabulous + Almost off the Grid and Prefabulous and Sustainable), and discussed her upcoming book which will include houses from Yankee Barn Homes!
A hearty round of “Congratulations” goes out to the YBH design team, YBH Creative Director Jeffrey Rosen, and his East Hampton build partner Gerard Mingino, on what now numbers five completed Yankee Barns in East Hampton. By far the best news: they’re not done, as two more Yankee Barn homes are going up in East Hampton this fall! WOW!
“The weekend’s private showing was a complete success! The event was a testament to the growing presence of Yankee Barn Homes in the Hamptons marketplace. I was so pleased to see a growing client base; last year we had 7 clients attend, this year we had to stop sign ups at 20! Thank you to the Yankee Barn team and all those who attended.” Michael Schmell, Director of Sales at Yankee Barn Homes.
A fun day was had by all, but we’re not finished. Check back with us soon as we’re working on an updated profile Oyster Shores, complete with new photos and floor plans. You won’t want to miss it!
