Recently featured on our blog as an in-design project, small barn house Walden Pond is now up and nearing enclosure. This design is a perfect combination of classic barn style and a floor plan to suit various lifestyles, from those just starting out to many who are now opting to age-in-place.
Post and Beam Living has chronicled Cove Hollow from the first renderings of its’ barn home plans through the completion on this shingle style YBH home. As with a number of current YBH builds, Cove Hollow is a hybrid, meaning it incorporates both post and beam and non-timbered panel construction. Hybrid shell packages are quite popular at YBH as some people want a post and beam frame here, but not there. Cove Hollow is the perfect example of how this looks in a completed home.
