While the lodge remains popular, Yankee Barn has seen a substantial shift to Mid-Century Modern inspired design in the mountain homes we’re building. We can likely accommodate whatever architectural style you choose.

With over 50 years of experience, prefabricated construction at Yankee Barn Homes has evolved to a point where our craftsmanship rivals that of traditional homes. We use a combination of structural Doug fir and traditional dimensional framing allowing us the flexibility to design our YBH mountain homes with full, partial, minimal structural or no post and beam frame.
Our prefabricated method reduces time and expenses by streamlining the process. Our factory construction is more efficient than builds done completely on site. However, a misconception with all prefabricated homes is that they come 100% finished. The primary savings is in the speed of onsite construction and energy efficiency over the life of the home.
Your Home Designed With You, For You
Once you have chosen Yankee Barn Homes to build your home, you will meet our team to begin the design process. Based on your specifications for a YBH mountain home design, your custom floor plans will be created. You will be able to review 3D virtual tours and your package price estimate in order to make changes. This assures both you and us that your design is completed to your requirements.
During this process you will review progress plans, timelines, budgets and permitting needs with your general contractor. YBH will assist you along the way and will meet with your contractor if/when necessary.
Upon completion of your design, your new home will then go onto our production schedule and delivery to your build site will be coordinated with your general contractor.
