Yankee Barn Homes new house builds have been fast and furious this year. The homes featured are only a sampling of the designs and plans currently underway or about to be built.

Western Prairie Style
Yankee Barn Homes has two prairie style builds currently underway in Idaho and Wyoming.
Blue Crane Creek: Inspired by our Cottage at the Barn design, Blue Crane Creek puts a decidedly Western spin on the cottage-style floor plan.
Eldercreek: This design is a single level home with added space for visiting children and grandchildren that’s able to be closed off from the main house when not in use.
Coastal Home Plans
Coastal Homes remain a popular style choice of many homeowners. Shingle Style meets cottage style, in all variations size and floor plan layout.
Beach Plum: This design has an “upside-down” floor plan to take full advantage of the site’s coastal views.
Hedge Haven Amagansett: Designed by architect Daniel Michels, Hedge Haven evokes the older homes dotting the Northeastern U.S. coastline. This style home had additions over time as families grew and needed more space. However, if you check the floor plan for this home, you’ll quickly see the interior layout is not a reflection of an older home. The “barn” and connector are actually the kitchen, dining and living room spaces of the home.
Longview: Inspired by the YBH Menemsha house plan, Longview will soon go up on the coast of New England.
Mountain Lodge and Lakefront Homes
The rustic mountain lodge style lends itself perfectly to the post and beam frame Yankee Barn is famous for building. With the ability to create vaulted spaces through the use of a timber frame, this style remains extremely popular with YBH clients.
Crescent Loon Lodge: Currently underway on a large New England lakefront site, Crescent Loon will be home to a family who enjoys all advantages lakeside living offers.
Pine River Lodge: Currently going up on a waterfront site in New Hampshire, Pine River is going to be a beauty. You’re bound to see more on it over the coming months.
Mid-Century Modern and Contemporary Designs
House plans Mad River Modern and Hill House have sparked a return to the Mid Century Modern-inspired design at YBH. Updated with today’s technological advances in energy efficiency and digitally managed systems, the current take on the MCM is truly spectacular.
Ledgewood: Taking a cue from our Mad River design, Ledgewood’s owners have put their spin on the house plan.
Spruce Run: Designed based on the Hill House plan, Spruce will be built near a popular ski area community in the Northeastern U.S.
