With over 5,000 square feet featuring 5 bedrooms and 5 baths, Summer Wind has everything one would need for a relaxing oceanfront stay. This was the intent when the homeowners approached Yankee Barn Homes. Working in conjunction with Nuzzi Architects, the owner’s architectural firm, Yankee Barn Homes was able to interpret and build each section of the home exactly as specified. The house has both timbered and non-timber sections. Yankee Barn’s unique panel system makes this possible as our True Panels are structural. There is no SIP panel that is load-bearing, consequently Yankee Barn has the ability to create and build homes that are fully timbered, partially timbered or non-timbered. Summer Wind is a partial post and beam home. The owners had the option to place the post and beam where they wanted it.
