Pond View Mountain Home is a current design inspired by our Springfield Barn Home. Pond View is a smaller version, coming in at 1,861 square feet while maintaining the three-bedroom, two and one-half bathrooms.
The home offers all the ambiance of our Springfield Barn while changing a few key features that will ultimately create a different home, unique in design and style. That’s exactly what Yankee Barn Homes is all about. Our past builds are here to inspire new builds. Thanks to a top-notch design team, YBH makes it happen every day.

Change Creates Individuality
If you place Pond View Mountain Home side by side with the Springfield Barn, there’s no mistaking the later inspired the former. But it won’t take long to notice the differences. Pond View has skipped the bump-out with wrap-around front porch, changed the window style (it is a mountain home, rather than the Springfield’s barn home farmhouse style), and added a truss brace to the front and back exterior roof peaks.
While the Pond View floor plan keeps the 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath format of the Springfield, it has reconfigured the layout for the first floor bedroom, entryway, and laundry room entrance. In the great room area there is one fireplace ( there are two in the Springfield design) and the stairwell does not have a wall of windows. The second level floor plan mimics the Springfield.
