Bold Artwork in a Barn Home

Take one stunning barn home, add several strategically placed pieces of fantastic artwork, and “Ta Dah”;   you’ve got one eye-catching showplace! This very practice was recently put into place in a Yankee Barn home located in East Hampton, NY with great success. The English cottage barn home, designed and decorated by Jeffrey Rosen, was greatly enhanced by the addition of a few well placed pieces from the collection of Ann Raymond, a local East Hampton artist. I love them all, but I have to say, my absolute favorite is the piece above the fireplace in the family room. Take a look, and please let me know which is your favorite!

The warmth of the living room is given greater depth with the addition of this Ann Raymond painting.

My personal favorite, this piece brings to mind cheerful English country gardens.

The colors of autumn are reflected in the pieces found in the upper level sitting room.

The painting hung on the stair wall provides continuity with the one seen just beyond in the living room. It is also a strong stand alone piece when viewed from other angles in the kitchen/dining room.
