While everyone out there does not have the same tastes, there are certain lighting companies no one can argue against and I’m here to lead you to them. Whether your taste is modern, rustic, classic or eclectic; if you live in a post and beam home (or even if you don’t), you will not go wrong using any of these lighting resources. The two things these companies have in common is fabulous lighting and superior quality.
Let’s begin with one of my personal favorites. If you love French, Tuscan and/or Old World style, you’ll love Aidan Gray Home. You can choose from cast resin, wood, glass and wire. If you can’t find a lamp or light fixture here that you don’t totally love, you’re in trouble!
The next company I’ll recommend is Circa Lighting. This company specializes in classics with an updated twist. Clean lines and superb form are the hallmarks of any Circa lighting fixture.
Should your tastes run to the truly authentic barn fixture look, have I got a lighting site for you. Barn Light Electric could definitely meet your one-stop-shopping lighting needs. Vintage, barn, rustic, marine and Victorian style lighting are just a few of the options this company offers. You could spend hours on this website and not get entirely through it!
Yet another of my favorite lighting resources, Currey & Co is one of the only resources listed here where you’ll have to find a dealer. Not to worry, their website will lead you right to one and their products are well worth the time.
Up to this point I’ve not addressed the contemporary or modern all that much. All that changes now with my recommendation of Brilliant Lighting, a company that specializes in track, monorail, monopoint and cable lighting systems. If you’re into clean lines and contemporary lighting, this is THE resource for you.
I’ll end today’s post with two recommendations for fun and eclectic sources for lighting. Roost (found online at Velocity) and Mothology. I was first introduced to Roost products through an interior designer but have since discovered this great resource for them on-line. Needless to say, I was thrilled. If you have a fun and/or quirky space that needs just the right thing, check out Roost first.
Mothology. was one of the first websites I found that catered to my eclectic tastes. I have always found something I “must have” when I visit the site and lighting was no exception.
Just for fun, check out these lights from Roost:
for ceiling lights, we always use compact fluorescent lamps because they are energy efficient compared to incandescent lamp:.:
