More Notable Post & Beam Interior Décor Discoveries
In compiling a list of items for my post a few weeks ago (October 7, 2009), I soon realized I had far more Discoveries than would possibly fit in one entry. I mused that if I were reading this blog, I would love to see more of this type of post. Then I thought, ‘Hey, I am writing this blog and the point is to write about things I like to read!’
Having gotten that straight in my mind, I decided to share more of the things for interior home décor I’ve found intriguing during my considerable time spent browsing magazines, catalogs and web sites. I hope you find something among my list you like!
This lion’s head door knocker from William Sonoma Home is a classic.
I have always wanted one of these. This tabletop easel from Pierre Deux is definitely on this year’s Christmas list.
Okay, this rug from Safavieh will need to be on several Christmas lists before I have a chance of getting it – but hey, it’s always good to dream!
To hang over the beautiful sarouk rug, this gorgeous chandelier from Ballard Designs.
As a coffee table atop the beautiful rug, you can’t go wrong with the simple lines of this brickmaker’s table from Restoration Hardware.
Atop the coffee table this distressed metal finial from Wisteria will look gorgeous!
To reflect the beauty of your treasures, this Gray Trumeau Mirror from Mothology is ideal.
These are just a few of the many more discoveries to come. Please contact me with any of your own ‘great finds’ as I’m always on the look-out for new and unusual trappings for the home.
Speaking of unusual, how about this vine monkey from At West End suspended from your chandelier? Okay, maybe that’s a bit much, but it would be a real conversation piece!

As long as the vine monkey is not in the garden, I think its fine ;)
I can’t make any promises!
