The Gambrel Studio Barn
We’re seeing a great deal of interest in our Studio Barn series ... a simple, functional and cost-efficient full time or second home. Some of our customers are building these post and beam Studio Barns on their vacation property to enjoy now, with the intention of building their retirement home in the future and then using the Studio Barn as a guesthouse and garage.
The 27’ x 36’ Gambrel Studio barn has plenty of space on the ground floor for vehicles, tractors and storage. The second floor incorporates a well-proportioned kitchen and living room and a full bath, along with two nicely sized bedrooms. The dormers on the second floor provide additional room, creating an open and spacious feeling in a very efficient footprint.
The cutaway interior view shows the flexibility of our Gambrel Studio Barn design ... a comfortable living space above, with a barn’s worth of storage beneath.
