Natural wood siding has long been sought for its timeless beauty, color, and texture. Yankee Barn Homes provides a unique log siding that was specifically developed for applications on frame built structures. Our log siding is solid Eastern White Pine for a true round profile.
Yankee Log Siding comes in two standard sizes: 2x6 or 2x8. It may also be hand hewn or planed with a rough surface for that special “old fashion” rustic appearance. Custom shapes and sizes may also be available upon request.
Extended Corners
We also provide a variety of corner styles for use with our log siding. Solid log corner extensions have been developed to match our log siding so that when applied, everything fits perfectly into place.
Unmatched Log Siding Quality
Just like everything involved with a Yankee Barn, our log siding is manufactured with strict quality control standards, that guarantees it’s the best there is. The siding is shaped with a reveal channel on the back, which serves several purposes in the manufacture and application of the siding. During the kiln drying process this channel helps to reduce warping as well as checking on the face of the siding. It also allows for airflow behind the siding to reduce condensation, as well as to make it lighter for easier application.
